CHICAGO HANDGUN OWNER Posted April 20, 2019 at 08:52 PM Share Posted April 20, 2019 at 08:52 PM I was wondering if the factory Glock 33 round magazines are just as reliable as the 17 round Glock magazines? Do they have more failure to feed incidents?
Bubbacs Posted April 20, 2019 at 09:04 PM Share Posted April 20, 2019 at 09:04 PM Those 33 rounders do look cool when you turn your gun sideways all gangster style. You know i read in school that it is easier to slide stuff sideways than to push it up, I always rotate my gun. That way if i tip it a bit farther they just rolls into the gun. MagSlap Posted April 21, 2019 at 01:42 AM Share Posted April 21, 2019 at 01:42 AM I was wondering if the factory Glock 33 round magazines are just as reliable as the 17 round Glock magazines? Do they have more failure to feed incidents? Short answer?Yes...they are reliable. They were originally designed for the Glock 18 full auto 9mm's....not as a novelty. They just so happen to fit in 17's 19's and 26's.
MagSlap Posted April 21, 2019 at 02:00 AM Share Posted April 21, 2019 at 02:00 AM Bonus:If you qualify for your FCCL with a 9mm Glock?.....You wont have to change magazines and you'll have 3 rounds left over.
BobPistol Posted April 22, 2019 at 02:16 AM Share Posted April 22, 2019 at 02:16 AM The 33 round mag is almost twice as good as the 17 round mag. Simple math, really
Ranger Posted April 30, 2019 at 07:09 PM Share Posted April 30, 2019 at 07:09 PM Mine have been just as reliable. I have purchased several non-oem; but have not tried them yet. As previously stated, they were designed for the Glock 18 so you'd expect them to be reliable.
