Air Commando Posted February 3, 2009 at 06:14 PM Share Posted February 3, 2009 at 06:14 PM I think that Obama pushed it too far with Daschle and this is going to give Rep senators a reason to start blocking all of his choices. They rolled over long enough and Obama abused it so now even Dems are saying this is too much. I think the easy ride is over plus Repubs are figuring out where they put their balls for the last few months.
Buzzard Posted February 3, 2009 at 06:54 PM Share Posted February 3, 2009 at 06:54 PM I'd like to share your optimism in the republicans, but I'm not convinced. It's been said that the "Porkulus" Package is a forty year democratic wish list. The whole thing needs to be scrapped and obandoned. We'd be better off bailing out the 46 out of 50 states that are near bankruptcy. None of the 9.2 trillion goes anywhere that would creat jobs. It's just a big bribe to get democrats elected over and over. Hence the one billion dollars going to ACORN to finance voter fraud to an unbelievable level. The House republicans voted it down completely as did 11 dems. Now several moderate RINO republican governors are begging the republican senators to get on the spending bus with the democrats. The senate republicans should stand firm with the house. And say no to the Porkulus Bill. Public support is now quickly waning. They need to stand firm. Can they do it??
