InterestedBystander Posted July 22, 2020 at 11:31 AM Share Posted July 22, 2020 at 11:31 AM She should be angry at the 95% that don't want you as a customer. Didn't Chicago pass a law (or try to) requiring a large number of places to post in order to retain their business license?Don't think they passes a law. It was the liquor board telling anything that needed a license that they had to post or no liquor license. As far as I can rememberr.Yeah, that sounds like the discussion I remember a while back. That would seem to cover a very large number of bars, restaurants, etc.
Euler Posted September 24, 2020 at 11:40 PM Share Posted September 24, 2020 at 11:40 PM Discovered today and not on the list (at least not on the web site AFAICT): Plano factory outlet, Plano, IL It seems bizarre to me that a place known for selling gun cases is a GFZ. Euler Posted September 25, 2020 at 02:19 AM Share Posted September 25, 2020 at 02:19 AM The only person inside, other than customers, was the cashier. I suppose if she doesn't know, she'd know whom to ask.

I asked about a GFZ sign put up at a business and it was gone on my next trip there. I was in Plano again today (for a reason beyond my plans as of yesterday), so I stopped in to ask. Is the sign new? How long has it been there? To every one of my questions, other than acknowledging that it exists, the cashier's reply was "I can't answer that." However, the tone of her voice was more like "I refuse to answer that." It appears to be a compliant design, applied to the outside of the glass, affixed with some fairly sturdy glue at the height of the door handle to the right of the door. We put Jewel signs in the "anti-gun lite" category for places that do something unfriendly but not prohibiting carry. But there is at least one Jewel (in Lake County if I remember) with the actual enforceable sign instead of the "only for vendors and employees" sign. The rest of them that I'm aware have the one that we can safely ignore (but still put them as "anti-gun lite".
