Added prints 3/3

Went active sometime between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM 4/2

 

FOID also now matches CCL #.  Never went under review for FOID.

My 20 year old Daughter has been waiting for her FOID Card since... November of last year and is in a quagmire of non sense with the ISP. I have spoken with them and it has been ridiculous, to put it mildly. There is no reason what so ever for their system to be this totally FUBAR...but it is.

I called to verify all my info was ok and was told I was approved but was told I have 63 days to go but may get issued before that. Not sure of their math as I applied February 2 with prints.

still under review. My snail mail application for my Florida CCL wasn't this slow and that was almost 10 years ago.  This is so frustrating.

From some of the stories I've heard during the training class and even some I've read here, my optimism on having things go smoothly has dropped greatly.

Incidences like a 70 year old guy being denied for an arrest he had when he was 13 years old does not inspire confidence in the system.

So 18 days in and still under review. The status under Inspect Elements still shows QC_Verified which changed to that after 10 days. We will see what happens.

So I am now on day 8 of being active with no license.  I am not hopeful I will see it tomorrow.  I cant buy the gun I've been looking at because my FOID card is invalid because of this.  I'm getting frustrated.

 

ETA:  It wasn't in the mail today, so best case scenario will be day 9 after going active.  I also live just outside of Decatur.

Looks as though I'm one of the unlucky bunch that applied around the time of the board change. I'm hoping to have it by July before I leave on vacation to Michigan, but if not, I can open carry up there with a FOID. Applied 2/22/15, still shows "under review", so I'm assuming no LE objections.

Your FOID card is not invalid, The ISP is issuing you a new number.  If you want to make a purchase, get in touch with the FTIP guys.

 "approved" when you right click and look at the properties of the status.

Added Prints 4-10-15. 

Email verification from State Police that prints were received today.

Anyone have any idea how long the "Under Review" is lasting for an address change?  It's been 19 days since I've changed it.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't waste money on prints, so I figure I'm about halfway there. Today is day 50 for me. Illinois already has my digital prints on record from when I joined my local Fire Department. Either way, I don't mind waiting.

I had a student just tell me it took 38 days with prints to get his FCCL.  This was about a week ago.

Checked again today and the web page still shows under review however inspect Elements shows a status of approved! that was not like that on Friday so getting much closer!
