mrmagloo Posted September 12, 2020 at 03:01 PM Share Posted September 12, 2020 at 03:01 PM What a damn POS. He's now doing commercials for Casten, while ripping Ives. The guy has always been a GOP backstabber on almost every conservative issue, but this really takes the cake.

Bubbacs Posted September 12, 2020 at 04:57 PM Share Posted September 12, 2020 at 04:57 PM Until a local org gets into doing commercials locally holding town halls and handing out flyers, there is nothing we can do!Pro rights candidates never speak out loud and in public about such stuff, at least I haven’t seen or heard it.All the talk is about how these local orgs get their funds to do absolutely everything imaginable. Shirts, posters, hats, hand out meals etc.Hey, how about a firearm handling workshop where it’s talked about the in home use and safety? Would the powers that be get upset? The amounts of cash flowing into and then out of these orgs which we as a gun owning group pour in needs to be funneled in a new and wider direction, yes? Ok, rant off.............

lilguy Posted September 13, 2020 at 03:16 AM Share Posted September 13, 2020 at 03:16 AM Are we, gun rights supporters , becoming anachronistic? Are we pushing a bolder up hill trying to preserve civilian gun ownership as society ,as a whole, is moving away from the idea.
mobilemail Posted September 13, 2020 at 10:29 AM Share Posted September 13, 2020 at 10:29 AM I'm not sure the month-over-month record setting purchases - many by new gun owners - represent "society, as a whole, is moving away from the idea". The reports seem to indicate that a lot of these folks are also taking classes and learning to shoot and responsibly pursue self defense, not just throwing the gun in a drawer. For the first time in a while, I'm feeling kind of optimistic for the future of gun owners. We just need to let the anti-2A politicians know through our votes and letters that their rhetoric is no longer acceptable.
GeekDad Posted September 13, 2020 at 03:06 PM Share Posted September 13, 2020 at 03:06 PM What is concerning to me is the number of first time owners buying firearms but still tend to vote for anti-gun candidates not realizing what that means. The guy has always been a GOP backstabber on almost every conservative issue, but this really takes the cake.If he feels that he cannot support the party's candidate, then he should just keep quiet. That was the case when Ives lost the gubernatorial nomination to Rauner in 2018. She just kept quiet for the most part.

lilguy Posted September 14, 2020 at 06:57 PM Share Posted September 14, 2020 at 06:57 PM He’s all over YouTube, popping up in the middle of KUBOTA tractor demos. It’s Fing infuriating. In Illinois if you want to be where the action is you roll with the party of corruption. For decades that’s been the Democrats. Being a principled republican is not an option.
