Then, things will get interesting. It's only a matter of time before this happens. Most likely, the victim of the crime will be portrayed as a vigilante. He or she will be prosecuted. I hope you're right. But, I'd say the State of Illinois would be the only party to be sued. The CTA and Metra are required by state law to post. The license will allow unfettered access to all Chicago public transport, and guarantee that upon presentation of said license the thief will be released if already apprehended. Licensees will be limited to no more than three at any one time on one conveyance. The license will be half that of getting a concealed carry license since any higher fee would be considered racist and probably harmful to the LGBTQ community.
