2020 Presidential Election 2A RIGHTS

Beto let the cat outta the bag during the 'debate' q few months back.

What was most telling was none of the other candidates jumped down his throat for being anti-American, and the whole audience cheered. Kind of lets us know what every candidate and perhaps 98% of Democrat voters would do, doesn't it?

Nope.

1st in a series of planned post backroom topics ( until - not unless - moderators shut me down ) to point out the obvious.

Keep watch.

Just for chits and giggles, I think I might pull a Democrat primary vote sheet, and cast my sacred ballot for the most idiotic, certifiably anti-American Value candidate out there.....just to see if my .0000001% of a vote tally does any good swaying the results.

".....and in a surprising showing, candidate Commie McNazi garnered 51% of the Democratic primary votes in Illnois......, setting up a huge change in the Democratic nomination convention. Will McNazi face President Trump? Stay tuned, America"

Not like Trump has done anything to protect to the 2A.

Except the biggest and longest lasting thing thing a president can do, appoint likely pro-2nd Supreme Court Justices that can shape the entire gun rights movement with a single ruling, the alternative could literally have ended the right for all intents.

That's a nice story we can tell ourselves... but it's not "doing something for the 2nd amendment", that wasn't the motivation in any way, shape, or form for the appointment.

Not just the Supreme Court, but all federal courts. It’s likely the next president will get to nominate replacements for the Clinton appointees Ginsberg and Breyer.

Keep in mind they can still get blocked by the Senate. For as much fireworks as the Kavanaugh hearing generated he’s still a centrist in the same vein as Kennedy. The Supreme Court still has not heard a major gun case since Heller and McDonald.

With Trump’s ****** deal making a hypothetical Dem Senate confirmed justice would be worse than a Repub Senate confirmed Dem president picked Justice.

Either way, justice picks mean nothing without control of the Senate. Expect a gun grabbing centrist like Merrick Garland to get a confirmation if the executive and senate are competing parties. Just more bipartisan gun control.
