2020 - My BROKEN GLASS election

I personally don't like President Donald Trump, but I will crawl across broken glass to vote for him Nov. 3, 2020! I don't care that Illinois is a deep blue state and my electoral votes will go to someone else. For whatever infinitesimally small impact it will have among the 350,000,000+ citizens, I will vote against those who only govern for the sake of power.

Bill Whittle's hair-on-fire endorsement for what The Donald has come to represent is can't miss and sums up exactly what's burning in my gut ever since the Covington Kids were framed and the Cavanaugh hearings made clear the anything goes casual relationship between the Democrat party and the enemedia.

Note: Scott Ott is playing the devils advocate. Bill's clarity is made all the more thorough the harder Scott presses him.

If voting were a personality contest, why do we have Democrat and Republicans?

I find it mildly amusing what some, not you, will say in order to vote Republican!

Its almost like those who will say anything to vote Democrat instead: I will move to Canada and never come back!

I will work my entire life to get rid of this Republican!

So make it as funny and convincing as possible, all of those who were to leave the US in 2016 are still here.

And Im willing to place a thousand toothpicks on you not crawling across broken glass on you knees!

Just one mans political opinion.......

I vote conservative/libertarian. If that's a Republican (usually), then fine.

Bubba, you got something to say, say it. It's hard to follow anything that you write, so I'm trying to pull this out 1 piece at a time. I will vote for Trump. I voted for him the 1st time and took my chances. His actions have proven that gamble was worth more than just defeating Hillary. Next time, it's to solidify tearing down the illegitimate power structure that controls the democrat party and the enemedia. Trump is not my god-king, but he's doing a heck of a job exposing the left's corrupt game. We need 4 more years to ensure they don't claw back the modest gains we're making against them. The FBI is just now being exposed. If there's a change in administration, it'll all get smoothed over like it was with the IRS targeting conservative groups. We can't let that happen! Go place your toothpicks wherever you want.

I’m sure that we all agree that the entire impeachment process has been contentious.

Let’s all feel free to discuss it but please do it in a civil manner.

As a reminder:

Please take note of rule number 3

3. Personal attacks and “flaming” other members is forbidden. This includes disrespect, antagonism, baiting, name-calling and a host of other demeaning attributes. Spirited debate is encouraged and can occur without name-calling or slander. We acknowledge that disagreements are common among groups of diverse people who value individual rights, but ask that interactions remain civil. If you decide to engage in uncivil communication, pursue such matters off the board.

Illinois Carry members cover the entire political and ideological spectrum. All are welcome here. Many members hold some very strongly held beliefs that are the polar opposite of other members. Posting a non-Second Amendment topic whose only purpose is to stir controversy and discord can reasonably be assumed to fall under the category of "baiting" and will not be tolerated.

Roundup

Impeachment round one

1. Mueller/Russia failed, on to the next

Impeachment round two

2. White supremacist (character assassination). Failed

3. Ukraine (where it turns out other establishment politicians are dirty). Success

It’s all a bunch of BS. Even Wall Street today seems to know what this is all leading up to.....

My biggest issue with having the Democrat/Republican is for judges.

Why are there parties at all?
