chicagoresident Posted March 19, 2019 at 03:44 PM Share Posted March 19, 2019 at 03:44 PM According to the poster it was served because they Google'd ANFO. Curious? Just remember who's watching you.Cara Smith, chief policy officer for Sheriff Tom Dart, was clearly frustrated at the large number of permits issued over the offices objections. Reviewing applications, and in many cases filing objections in vain, detracts resources from our ability to combat gun violence in the city or to our other police work were doing. One case in particular underlines that frustration. The office had filed an objection against a man whose profile photos on Facebook showed him flashing what appeared to be gang signs. In one of the photos, he had a gun tucked in the waistband of his jeans as he sat on the hood of a car. https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-illinois-concealed-carry-shootings-20180523-story.html Why fight crime when Google and Facebook can do it for you. Google's portal is called LERS (Law Enforcement Request System), it's login is hidden better, but I doubt the bar is set high to get access. https://support.google.com/transparencyreport/answer/7381738?hl=en Facebook's law enforcement portal is herehttps://www.facebook.com/records/x/login/?_rdr
RS1 Posted March 19, 2019 at 07:30 PM Share Posted March 19, 2019 at 07:30 PM "You have been found to have insecure firearms." They are screening firearms for mental health issues now? Typos aside, it's frightening for sure. "Red flag" laws like that are better named "carte blanche" laws.

That's a crime in IL. Dead-bang proof on facebook. But Dart, instead of sending a cop and arresting the thug. whines loudly about law abiding citizens getting permits over his whining objections instead. Criminals are cronies of the LWW's.
