Hap Posted May 28, 2019 at 12:49 AM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 12:49 AM Supposedly the Texas legislature just passed a spending bill to which was attached a provision containing some sort of safe storage requirements for firearms. The national press accounts I've seen completely fail to mention any specifics as to what this bill would require if enacted, but portray the provision as a defeat for the NRA. Local (TX) press contains the detail that what the legislation actually does is to fund a state PR campaign encouraging safe storage. Is this how desperate the Moms are now down in Texas? transplant Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:42 AM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:42 AM It's not them being desperate - it's them being successful. Successful at getting the camel's nose under the tent. Momentum will build, more will come, and Texas will begin to crumble, until it rapidly sinks beneath the waves in a woosh like Washington State and Oregon did. Likely in the next two to three years. BobPistol Posted May 28, 2019 at 02:25 AM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 02:25 AM Texas is turning purple. LWW's are drooling at this. If Texas turns blue, you'll never see a RINOpublican president again.

Actually, they're poopin' in their purses. https://nypost.com/2019/05/27/texas-bill-allows-residents-to-carry-guns-for-a-week-after-natural-disasters/ The same Texas Legislature just passed constitutional carry in the event of a disaster, and it's heaed to the Gov's desk.
