DomG Posted July 15, 2018 at 10:12 PM Share Posted July 15, 2018 at 10:12 PM Is there a compliant GFZ sign conspicuously posted? That answer also answers your question.

This is why they would need to post. How would anyone know if the event required the issuance of a permit? Not every event requires a permit. George72 Posted July 16, 2018 at 03:10 PM Share Posted July 16, 2018 at 03:10 PM I hear you and agree DomG. It should be posted if it's a GFZ event but I didn't read anywhere that posting signs is required at such events. I was only providing information. Doesn't mean I like or agree with it. I have no idea if permits are required for car shows.

Jeffrey Posted July 16, 2018 at 04:48 PM Share Posted July 16, 2018 at 04:48 PM I'd suggest NOT naming the shows in the event that any of the anti nuts that lurk decide to call and tell them they need to post.

soylentgreen Posted July 16, 2018 at 06:51 PM Share Posted July 16, 2018 at 06:51 PM I'm guessing the people who organize these events, even when permits are necessary, are not aware of all the hundreds of laws that might apply. Most citizens have no idea what the CCA says or that there even is one. LOL.Being unaware of the law doesn't necessarily absolve them of compliance. Maybe if more organizers of events were aware of the law, they'd be willing to help us fight this stupidity.
