tkroenlein Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:04 AM Share Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:04 AM Rep. David Reis has lost his primary challenge to Darren Bailey in the 109th. David was a solid and committed vote for the Second Amendment throughout his 14 years in the House of Representatives. He did his part to hold the line in the passing of the FCCA, and was committed to "One State, One Law," as he personally communicated to me throughout the process. Mr. Reis worked closely with the small towns and villages in his district, and I can again personally attest to his commitment to his constituency, as he worked to amend burdensome state law (municipal code) on behalf of the village (pop < 150) where I served as a trustee at the time. This is my thanks to you, sir, for not only what you've done for your district, but for me, personally.
InterestedBystander Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:11 AM Share Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:11 AM At least that is one lame duck I won't worry about. How is Mr Baileys position on the 2nd Amendment?

How is Mr Baileys position on the 2nd Amendment? We have a good candidate in Mr. Bailey. By all accounts, he will match Rep. Reis' respect for our rights. Plus he's from Clay County. I'd be shocked if you could find a single anti in the space of a week.
Molly B. Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:44 PM Share Posted March 21, 2018 at 04:44 PM Mr. Bailey should be a solid vote on firearm issues. We will miss Rep. Reis's seniority within the Republican Caucus, his expertise, and knowledge.
