Can anyone recommend a place to re-blue a firearm?

I'm thinking of refinishing a gun to a deep dark blue.

Northern IL business if possible.

Thanks

My suggestion would be to send it back to manufacturer and have them do it

I always liked this:

But its from Dietrich Gunsmithy in Otis, ME

Mayor Bloomberg himself has recently turned his attention from oversize soft drinks to gun control, confirming the tendency of the Progressive to go from nanny to tyrant.

I had an old 1100 done in Kankakee at a small shop but I think they went out of business. It was hot dip and turned out awesome. Better than any factory bluing I've seen. I think I paid $200. Good luck it seems most places are creakote etc im not aware of any bluing shops.
