Ive read a few articles on that site I believe to be inaccurate.

The duty to inform tab makes no mention of upon request of a LEO

As an instructor I always use the ISP site for definitive answers. The site i listed is just a good place to get all the information in one spot. Like all sites including Handgunlaws.us the site author makes "best effort" to keep the data accurate. I feel it is my personal responsibility to ensure that the information is good, i.e, verify it by using the ISP site.

It doesnt?

..."If an officer requests to see the license then you must hand it over."...

Having said that, it seems like there is some inaccuracy as well as old data like number of CCL holders.

Eventually it does give more accurate information. You have to click the See Details box in the Quick Facts box. That shows a not completely accurate paraphrase of 66/10. If you scroll down further, there is a pop-down that will show the actual text of 66/10.

That is not a very efficient way to dispense information. I agree that the site could lead to a lot of confusion.

Mmm....Not so accurate...

They state:

Any public gathering or special event conducted on property open to the public

WRONG!

Actually...

Any public gathering or special event conducted on property open to the public that requires the issuance of a permit from the unit of local government, provided this prohibition shall not apply to a licensee who must walk through a public gathering in order to access his or her residence, place of business, or vehicle

Reading that site, one would believe they would have to avoid any group of people...

Is the information about laser sights correct. Or is that a Chicago ordinance.

It's a Chicago ordinance.

Likely pre-empted and seldom enforced, if enforced at all.

How much other misinformation is on this page?

This place is not a good source of accurate information...

This guy got a laser possession charge but it was more of an addon along with others

http://www.cwbchicago.com/2019/06/uptown-armed-video-shoot-ends-with.html

...Prosecutors charged Moore with felony unlawful use of a weapon on school or park grounds; felony possession of a firearm without a Firearm Owner’s ID (FOID) card; possession of a laser sight; and possession of ammunition without a FOID...
