Rilo Posted November 18, 2020 at 11:42 PM Share Posted November 18, 2020 at 11:42 PM Looking at this story it looks like we are in for the long haul until a minimum of 2022. https://gatdaily.com/when-is-ammo-coming-back/?fbclid=IwAR2n9JV_91WVoOOF_H_itXR48lnIjbfYuKKb5undAkkIo3AdvQy_fSRh-mQ
Windermere Posted November 19, 2020 at 03:48 AM Share Posted November 19, 2020 at 03:48 AM We'll never see the prices we were used to prior to covid ever again. Just my opinion.
Raw Power Posted November 19, 2020 at 02:25 PM Share Posted November 19, 2020 at 02:25 PM If we weren't relying on China for primers, we'd be in much better shape. US companies are almost exclusively relying on supply chains that get disrupted during times of crisis, then we add a pandemic and threats of social unrest on top. Companies are afraid to tool up and increase production because most people aren't going to sustain these levels of buying past a few years, and it's impossible to build a sustainable business like that. Ideally, we'd see some support from the federal government for ammo manufacturers, but we're extremely unlikely to get that under a Biden administration. Rilo Posted November 19, 2020 at 03:40 PM Author Share Posted November 19, 2020 at 03:40 PM I wouldn’t took up either. If the domestic terrorists would behave themselves we would need the local and federal government buying up the Lions share of ammo!
