  1. Have fun. It's obvious the legislature holds me in contempt. Not half as much contempt I as I have for them. They can pass what they want and that's just what they'll do. I chose to ignore whatever they pass.
  2. Just to be clear, the 'combo card' is simply a FOID card with 'CCL:YES' on it? Good lord I hate this state.
  3. So according to Vox an average gun owner is 1-16 guns, a Super Owner is 17 guns. What are the levels above 'Super'? Super Extra? Super Extra Special? And what kind of flair do we get with those extra levels?
  4. I had no idea it was even happening. Although, it's obvious Springfield has no intention of listening to the pro-2A side and the largest '2A' organization in the state is bargaining away our right to keep a seat at the table, so what's the point?
  5. Interesting. So technically, as soon as you order a new FOID card, you are instantly violating state law. Way to go Illinois, making the law abiding instant, inadvertent law breakers.
  6. http://dnr.state.il.us/law3/Documents/ConcealedCarryQnA.pdf 5) On what IDNR properties may an Illinois Concealed Carry Permit holder carry a concealed firearm? Illinois Concealed Carry Permit holders may carry a concealed firearm on any IDNR real property (including bike trails, trails, or any other designated public hunting area or building where firearm possession is permitted by the IDNR) with the following exceptions: All IDNR Office buildings, including but not limited to the Joel D. Brunsvold Building (IDNR Springfield Headquarters Building), IDNR Regional Office buildings, IDNR State Museum buildings, and any other IDNR building marked with the ISP-approved sign prohibiting firearms. All firearms, including concealed firearms, are also prohibited on all IDNR State Refuge areas, IDNR Dedicated Nature Preserves, and IDNR children playground areas. When visiting any of these locations, Concealed Carry Permit holders are required to secure their concealed firearms in their vehicle in accordance with the Illinois Concealed Carry Act.
  7. Got mine today. Applied on 1/4 with prints and was approved late on the 28th. Postmark was 3/3 Time for the wally walk!
