My conspiracy theory is that these indictments are just the old machine made up of localized Illinois fiefdoms exercising obvious shakedowns being taken out by the new neoliberal globalist machine. Kwame was an Obama appointee, enough said. The new machine will have better lawyers, better lobbyists, better PR departments, better shell companies, better corporate funding, and better nonprofit foundations to stay clear of the obvious grifts.In light of all the recent indictments, has anyone seen a response or any kind of condemnation from this guy ?

I’m sure that he will find and indict as many corrupt Illinois politicians as his predecessor did during her 16 years in office.

Before or shortly after the election, I seem him to recall him saying he wasn't going to look for corruption. He doesn't have to look. Apparently, he can't take two steps in the statehouse without tripping over it. Who knows, he may very well be on the list the feds are investigating.

Exactly. He's busy hiding his own issues most likely. I just hope in my lifetime I see something good come from this state in regards to all the corruption. The first 40 years have been a bust. Even with the number of federal investigations currently under way, my hope is still slim.
