Looks like he's getting desperate... (for attention)

two events per day, three days in a row. Wayyyy wayyyy out, almost the Iowa border...

It's probably him, and his wife on a road trip. with a few stops along the way just to be a PITA.

I guess that's HIS definition of fun, I wonder if it's his wife's definition?

Let's hope he's just running for the border to go harass Missouri. $Everyone knows their laws are so lax that you don't even need a FOID card to buy a gun.$

What ever happened to the Niles range? I saw they won the final stage of the lawsuit earlier this year then nothing

A better question is: What ever happened to Brandy Larrance and New Hope Academy? She told the trustees that if they approved the gun store she'd pack up her special-ed school and leave, but then she reneged on that statement. Its too bad because I really wanted to see her get the heck out. I hate when the ultra libs play that "If I don't get my way, I'm leaving" - BS. They can all go renounce their citizenship and move to whatever politically correct socialist shithole they threaten to move to for all I care, but then they never follow-through on their threats.

The last I heard about Niles is they're resuming construction.

Thursday, August 11, 2016 Anti-Gun Group to Travel Illinois Protesting Industry Stores, Manufacturers

CHICAGO - Possibly encouraged by Gov. Rauner's willingness to remove Illinoisans' First Amendment right of freedom of conscience, an Illinois anti-gun group is planning to agitate and protest at gun shops and manufacturers around the state as part of effort to end or limit citizens' Second Amendment rights.

The agitprop program is part of Peaceful Communities' Merchants of Death Tour, a series of left-wing protests at gun industry locations.

"The gun industry is making money by selling guns and ammunition that are causing enormous problems throughout our state and country," said Lee Goodman, organizer for the group Peaceful Communities. "That industry should be held accountable for the damage its products are causing," he continued.

According to union-funded Progress Illinois, the protests will begin August 15 and go through August 18, hitting the cities of Lockport, Coal City, Geneseo and Oregon, among others, along the way.

>>>>> Are there plans for counter demonstrations?

I think that increased commerce is the best statement that we can make.

I'm not going to chase that flake all over the state dragging signs with me.

His biggest impact is with a willing press, that tells a story while ignoring the fact that there are very few people led by a man desperate for attention.

In that context, counter demonstrations only convey legitimacy.

I think he reads these threads, and giggles.

Illinois Review must have has a slow news day, and they seem to have picked up the story from the progressive's propaganda rag, and they, because it dovetails with their candidate's agenda. I wonder if Lee is putting out press releases, or are they just watching his facebook page?

But Illinois review is heading for rag territory for me, since the everytown graphic they chose to run doesn't show any connection to lee.

(thus THEY are pushing propaganda... that's not journalism, it's advocacy - something that seems VERY catching nowadays)

I like the idea of his silly protests generating more sales. It seems like a good way to steal their thunder without legitimizing his 4 man circus.

I've been out of town but will try to put an email alert together.
