keimier Posted January 14, 2020 at 06:52 AM Share Posted January 14, 2020 at 06:52 AM Just a lil history: I moved to Illinois last March and stayed with my Father. During my time there, I obtained an IL DL. So I have that address printed on my DL and I also have a full beard in the DL photo. A couple months later, I got my own place and had shaved the beard. I contacted the DL website and changed my address but have not gotten a new hardcopy with the shaved beard photo on it. In late November, I applied for a FOID card online and submitted a photo w/o the beard. I constantly checked the status of my online application and last week, the status changed to DENIED. I have not received an email or letter from ILSP as to the reason why it was denied (not sure I would even get any of those sent to me). Could the mismatched address and or the photo discrepency be the cause of the DENIED status? I'm just trying to get a headstart on what I would have to do if that were the case. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
InterestedBystander Posted January 14, 2020 at 07:34 AM Share Posted January 14, 2020 at 07:34 AM (edited) Mismatched address (although you say you submitted a change so why a mismatch?). DL correct and matching other applications is key. Edited January 14, 2020 at 07:37 AM by InterestedBystander
