Whereabouts are you? I've only been here about 10 years, but to me it is the reefer capitol of Illinois. All the mfg has left. Many of the small towns have become meth-head hangouts. Theft is rampant. Here's a tip: If you are interested in a small town/area, get to know some teens. They can tell you what a place is like better than any realtor.

Near Alton, which, at times, isn't much better. Just less wide spread. Wish I could ride my bicycle across town after dark but I won't.

I just got back from a one day trip up there. Had to go all the way to Lake County and back. Makes me glad to live 300 miles south.

Liborio Torres and his son are in deep do-do. They attacked someone and shot at them. You can't do that. They can and should both go to prison. Illinois doesn't get the air time that California does, but Pritzker has done his damnest to make this place a liberal heck-hole. Can you imagine Pritzker vs Christie in a mud pit?😳

I believe the democrats' plan is to put Pritzker in the WH. They got Biden in there by keeping him out of sight; keeping him in a basement. They won't put JB out there until the 11th hour. Then he's got all his billions to dump on the Champaign at the final hour. It's their new strategy. I'd be willing to bet.
