Hey there fellas, I have yet to teach my first class and I am trying to study up and get all the materials I need before I have a class. I know there is a copy in our book, should I just retype that or Is there a standard liability form for us Illinois instructors?  Or maybe someone has one that they wouldn't mind sharing?  if so my email address is:  jimoppman@gmail.com

Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

The best approach is to have a lawyer write up a waiver form for you.  Provide the lawyer with a copy of the sample provided by the NRA, and discuss with him your own concerns.  The lawyer will tailor the waiver to fit the specific needs for conducting training in Illinois.  You do NOT want to write your own waiver or retype the NRA waiver, as it does not cover issues specific to teaching in Illinois.
