Interested in action pistol competition, the most fun you can have with a handgun?
Coming up on the fourth Saturdays of March and April: Excel's Introduction to Action Pistol Competition day seminar class at North Porter County Conservation Club, Chesterton, IN.
9am-5:30pm, Saturdays March 24th and April 28th, 2018.
Steel Challenge, IDPA, and USPSA match shooting is covered.
Range procedures and protocols, rules of the sports, strategies and how to attend a match, fundamentals of action shooting including the draw, speed, reloads, and then shooting each of the disciplines beginning with fundamental drills and ending with running through full stages.
$120, with a discount to North Porter club members, $80. A great price for a full day of learning, shooting, improving your overall skills and having a lot of fun.

Just to be clear - is this a two-part training or two different sessions of the same training?

cherryriver will give you the definitive answer but when I took it it was a one day class.  Take it if you can.  It was a lot of fun and very informative.

April 28th is now scheduled as "Customer Appreciation Day" at On Target, so I will be working that day.

Sorry, I missed the question above.  Must not have the notifications set right.

Yes, it's one day, 9am-5:30pm.  There are two separate dates.  Typically, the March edition fills first and the April is the "rain" date, but not this year.  April is mostly full.

I may have to negotiate with the club for another date, but it won't be easy, as it's a busy place.
