I've heard a number of currently legal gun owners mention they're giving up their FOID/CCL just because they are sick of the unconstitutional monies they spend to keep them current. Having access to private ranges and living near borders of other states to purchase their ammo in, no duty to inform, etc. They just want the same rules as the criminals have. Who can blame them? They have the guns they want already. What else besides an unconstitutional law would stop them?

I've contemplated this a bit myself. The more I think about it, the less I stress. Assuming I'm dead at the point of time, I won't care what happens to them then...

A lot of AR parts are being made in one facility but putting different manufacturers names on the plate. There is/was a local machine shop here near O'hare that was producing the AR receivers for I don't know how many different manu's. From what I heard they only run .gov contract today. The PSA to last hundreds or thousands of rounds doesn't surprise me any.
