Isn't it ironic how the left and mainstream media calls Trump a liar 24/7, that is until they can find a tidbit (as you said likely an empty crowd pleaser statement) that suits their agenda, then he is Honest Abe? Trump certainly is no Honest Abe, but the fact remains he has followed through on many of his campaign promises and the left absolutely hates that and they hate the fact that all their doom and gloom hasn't materialized.
