The Law Firm of David G. Sigale, PC has filed a lawsuit against the Hononegah High School District in Rockton, Illinois, and certain of its officials, on behalf of Madison Oster, a student at the high school. During the well-publicized school walkouts last March to protest school gun violence, Madison wished to express a different viewpoint on school safety and gun rights.

The school did not allow her to express her message to the other students, ostracized her and subjected her to bullying. The lawsuit alleges violations of Madisons First Amendment rights, as well as her rights to equal protection and due process under the Fourteenth Amendment. The lawsuit is generously funded by the Second Amendment Foundation in Bellevue, Washington.

The complaint is here:

Best of luck in the suit. Teachers and school districts have gotten out of hand in thier anti-gun stance. Know several teachers and they are beyond what I would call liberal snowflakes. God forbid a kid even mentions guns. But, Star Wars, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy are OK, even though there are tons of guns and millions die.

Death Note melts their brains, though.
The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants, and it provides the further advantage of giving the servants of tyranny a good conscience.

The tyranny of utopia.

The anti-gunners consider themselves great humanitarians, they believe so strongly in their own rightness that they think nothing of violating the rights of others.

“Most gun control arguments miss the point. If all control boils fundamentally to force, how can one resist aggression without equal force? How can a truly “free” state exist if the individual citizen is enslaved to the forceful will of individual or organized aggressors?

 It cannot.”
