I got my CCL about 5 years ago without fingerprints but have since gotten them live-scanned into the system and since submitted the number in the main portal.

Going through the renewal process; it will not let me select "yes" for "have you submitted fingerprints at an approved live scan vendor"

At this point should I just renew "without" ? or is there a known workaround for this?

Will it let you enter the tcn number?

Not during the renewal application that I have seen.

It was previously entered in and shows under the "application summary" screen, which is the one you see right after logging in, shows your FOID/CCL info, etc.

I had prints when I originally applied for my CCL.  So my renewal didn't ask for them again.  Did the renewal in December so I don't recall the details.  So maybe since you added your prints after original and before renewal, you are set.?.  I am just adding my 2cents, I don't really know for sure.

I submitted prints for Fla years ago and they appeared on my Illinois CCL application.

Why did you bother after you'd already been licensed previously?

Because I have been getting some random "delays" ; about 2 of my last 6 firearm purchases. I think someone with a similar name who is unscrupulous may have moved to IL or otherwise be flagged in their system.

I am making wild assumptions here because its impossible to get anyone on the phone @ the ISP. All of the transactions were eventually approved but I wanted to take the extra step so I don't end up "Darted".
