John Q Public Posted January 29, 2020 at 03:52 PM Share Posted January 29, 2020 at 03:52 PM Okay, so now if you can't take the game with the firearm you have you can not have it on your person while engaged in the hunting. Simpler, I can't carry my 9mm while out hunting deer with a bow/shotgun whatever. Now if we could get all those other pesky prohibited places... Anywhere where there could be a mass shooting you can't carry.
speedbump Posted January 29, 2020 at 04:16 PM Share Posted January 29, 2020 at 04:16 PM That legislation is LONG overdue, and one Ive been advocating for years. In the meantime, coyote season runs nearly year round.....

Do not make the law more restrictive than it already is.
Birdhunter1 Posted January 29, 2020 at 07:54 PM Share Posted January 29, 2020 at 07:54 PM That legislation is LONG overdue, and one Ive been advocating for years. In the meantime, coyote season runs nearly year round.....It is long overdue and I've been harping on it since day one. 365 days a year I can carry whatever firearm I want on my land but that little slip of paper saying I can harvest a deer limits me from carrying if I am trying to harvest a deer. As if I would want to go out and hang onto the side of a tree in 20 degree weather at the edge of a field with a bow and a 9mm pistol and want to poach a deer when I could sit in a heated building 300 yards away with a rifle and have the same shot opportunities. Frankly I quit caring about the state saying I can't carry on my own land while engaging in whatever the heck I decided I want to engage in. I didn't say anything in that regard, Would you like me to list all the places where mass shooting can happen that are restricted? Don't read in what is not written.
