  1. Never owned a bump stock and never had an interest in one. Bailey is 100% on point.
  2. If he changed his residence I would guess there is no way around the eight hours. Is his permit still active in the portal?
  3. The feds enforce the state gun laws as well. Not compliant with state laws then you aren't compliant in their mind.
  4. I am aware of that issue but it is not new. It took place a couple of blocks from my home. Hit me up if you come back and maybe we can take in a meal at the Maid Rite.
  5. I live in Quincy and I am not aware of an incident in last week unless it is something that the news stations are choosing to keep quiet..
  6. I will caution you that IF the ISP did what is required of them and reported your card to the NICS database as a prohibited person their is no relief available. The ISP cannot remove you from the federal list and the feds are not hearing relief cases. There has been a lot of debate as to whether the ISP is submitting the report or not for the MMJ and caretaker cards. There have been people with active MMJ cards that purchased a firearm from a dealer with no issues. They were not aware of the prohibition when they purchased it. There have also been some that have not had an active card for over 12 months and were denied. I honestly think it is roulette at this point. Take this for what it cost you...
  7. Gun safety 101. I would be willing to bet she was told the gun was unloaded and has no idea how to verify for herself and then proceeded to point the "unloaded" gun at everyone that got in her way.
  8. I can tell you as a home based FFL that it is hard to believe the prices I see some stuff selling for. They are either getting massive discounts or taking a loss on everything they sell.
  9. I agree but.... How far does a friendship go. If I had a "friend" that stabs me in the back on multiple occasions at some point I should stop considering them a friend.
  10. Been on the books for years but the ISP started enforcing it with the dealer licensing act.
  11. Just as others have said. He does not NEED one but I would suggest that he get one. My daughter has had one since she was five and has since been through a renewal
  12. I don't know but I am guessing the offense that is keeping you from being approved goes there.
