Meaning we could file "pro" for something on one day, only to have the bill gutted and replaced with something we oppose, but those original slips are still good, so it looks like we are in favor of it? In the past we've always had to file slips for or against an amendment. I would hope that's still a thing, but I wouldn't put it past either party to try some shenanigans to get around it.
