MrTriple Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:55 PM Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:55 PM Imagine a compact version of the Glock 21. Sorta like a 45 ACP version of the 19. That would be a big seller for Glock. I'm not sure why they haven't made one yet, unless the recoil/cartridge doesn't work in a compact frame. But then why do they offer a subcompact 45 ACP pistol? Windermere Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:58 PM Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:58 PM Wouldn't that be the glock 30s? I have one and it conceals pretty damn well
MrTriple Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:59 PM Author Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 08:59 PM I thought they didn't have a compact 45. Lemme double check. [EDIT] So the Glock 30 is basically a 45-caliber version of the Glock 26. What I mean is that Glock should offer a 45-caliber version of the 19. That would be amazing. mikew Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:03 PM Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:03 PM I wish Ruger would make a simple utilitarian blowback rimfre rifle that you could accessorize.

04 Cobra Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:19 PM Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:19 PM My guess is that it would be a Glock 30?? I'll be buying a Glock 36 whenever I can find time to get to the LGS.
MrTriple Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:44 PM Author Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 09:44 PM The Glock 30 and 36 are basically 45-caliber versions of the subcompact Glock 26. According to Glock's website, they don't offer a compact 45. Remember that they have the full-sized models, the compact models (which are essentially full-sized pistols, they're only slightly smaller than the full-sized models), and the subcompact models. They also have the long-barreled target models and the even longer-barreled "L" models, plus the single-stack 42 and 43. When I say "compact", I mean the essentially-full-sized "compact" models like the Glock 19.

Teufel Hunden Posted June 15, 2017 at 11:39 PM Share Posted June 15, 2017 at 11:39 PM Glock 30, double stack 45, 10+1, accepts a Glock 21 magazine so you could have 13+1. Incredibly comfortable and concealable with the 9 round magazine.

DomG Posted June 17, 2017 at 12:04 AM Share Posted June 17, 2017 at 12:04 AM Now that I have a Shield 45, I may be willing to sell my Glock 36 with 4 mags. 1 six round and 3 seven round mags (Glock six round mags with Pearce +1 installed. Have original plates if you want to switch back to six round original.) Haven't thought of a price, let me know if interested. I rarely sell guns- can never have too many. MrTriple Posted June 22, 2017 at 01:26 AM Author Share Posted June 22, 2017 at 01:26 AM Glock should make a 22LR pistol. Or someone should manufacture a conversion kit. Didn't somebody do that with Smith and Wesson or with Sig?

BobPistol Posted June 23, 2017 at 02:58 AM Share Posted June 23, 2017 at 02:58 AM I'd rather have a Glock versus a conversion kit. The conversion kit doesn't work as well as the original unconverted pistol.

Rockdiver Posted June 24, 2017 at 05:46 PM Share Posted June 24, 2017 at 05:46 PM G30s is spectacularly accurate, and very easy to manage for a light .45. It conceals easily and has good aftermarket support.
