Freedom munitions?

Has anyone used Freedom Muntions remanufactured ammo?

Good stuff? Or No?

Thanks

Yes and yes. See "The Military Arms Channel" on Youtube for a discount code. I've used alot of new and reman, no problems. Sometimes, when they're swamped, you'll wait a while for your delivery. That's my 2 cents. YMMV

I've used em before. Bought 1000 rounds of 223, and order which I placed early November of last year. It took me nearly a month to receive my order but the quality is great for remanufactured ammo, it even comes in boxes of 50 which I thought was nice. I haven't used em since because the price of new ammo has fallen so much, especially for 9mm.

I've been shooting their reloads for the last 5 years and have had one shipping problem. I ordered .45's and they shipped 9mm, one phone call straightened it out, they shipped the .45's and told me to keep the 9mm, no charge. I shoot 3 calibers and go through about 500 rounds a month. I usually place large orders when they have a sale with free shipping, shipping delays don't bother me I don't wait until I'm out or low on ammo to reorder.

I've been using them for years also and their ammo has been pretty good, even the reload stuff for the most part. I had one failure to feed on a 9mm reload once, but that's about it.

Shipping has been hit or miss with them with sometimes things coming quickly or occasionally very long wait times.

Lately though I've noticed that almost every time I go there to order, everything is "out of stock". It's annoying to say the least. Not sure what's going on with them recently, but it's starting to remind me of the Obama years every time I visit their site. Hopefully they can get it figured out.

I've ordered from them alot. For rifle 223 and 45ACP, it has been solid.

for 9mm ive noticed it is very underpowered. Seems to have gotten worse over time. it chokes some of my pistols or the brass is barely get out during ejection. This is for 115gr and 147gr, same story.

So now i buy budget new 9mm from somewhere else, and it has worked much better

I use Freedom`s 9mm 115 FMJ ammo for practice. The UPS driver leaves it in my garage. My Freedom account says I bought (and shot) 4750 rounds of New 115 FMJ in 2016. The majority went through a Sig M11-A1 and M9 Berretta. Glocks and Smiths were also in the mix. The ammo NEVER failed to fire. NEVER had a fail to eject. I use the M11 a lot, so for a reliability check I did not clean it until I had a failure to feed (just short of 1200 rounds, the feed ramp was filthy). Never experienced an underpowered round. Maybe I`m just lucky. I recommend Freedom Munitions to my students and have heard no complaints with the ammo. I do not have the time to re-load but my shooting buddies have had no problems using the Freedom cases.

I've shot plenty of their reloads. Their .40 more than makes Major Powerfactor for USPSA. Their .223 is good and I haven't had any problems with their 9mm loads.

Ammo has gotten cheap enough recently that buying factory new stuff isn't so much more expensive, but I wouldn't shy away from Freedom Munitions stuff if they had what I needed.

Price and ammo are good in my experience, I've used their 9mm and 223.

Shipping times can vary greatly, and my last order ended up taking much longer to ship than advertised, which led to me not having gone with them for some time. I've also begun finding Federal maroon box 9mm for the same price or cheaper locally, so I don't have as much of a reason to buy their 9mm any more.

I do keep an eye on their 223/5.56, as they still tend to be pretty low compared to others and I can't find them cheap locally. That being said, I've bought more and more from either Sportsman's Guide and Palmetto State Armory lately, as Freedom's shipping prices seem to have gone up compared to what I used to get charged. They also don't seem to do free shipping events as often anymore, and that tends to be when they are incredibly slow in shipping.
