range bag

Ive got a 4 pistol midway USA brand range bag, and its held up beautifully. Its designed for a pistol range day I guess, but in all honesty its big enough to haul way more.

When I do a range day I usually bring everything. Pistols, rifles, shotguns, and bolt guns and it holds all the ammo I need, tools, lubricants, mag holders, pens, paper, towels, ear and eye pro, and first aid. The zippers are sturdy, tough nylon fabric, sling attachments are all metal, and tough stitching. For 60 bucks I think I got every pennies worth.

Before I had sandbags I used it as a support and my muzzle blasted a whole through the front pocket so it has some character now haha

I wouldve posted a link but it looks like maybe they dont make that model anymore. There are similar ones though. The 5.11 stuff is like twice the price

Windermere

I Have the same bag from midway I have had it for years yes its a good bag for a full day at the range I can pack it full when I bring my rifle shotgun and pistol to my outside range But I'm looking for a smaller bag that is Quality Made Maybe even a little discreet Just for 2 pistols And a couple boxes of ammo and hearing protection I find myself going to the range just for a 1/2 an hour to an hour during the week So I really don't need to bring a kitchen sink with me

OMG, just got home from Plano. Stopped at the Plano molding outlet store. Thinking of this topic when I saw they had range bags on sale. I bought one even though I didn't need it. They have the Plano X2 1312 range bag for $15.99. I looked online and they sell for $45.00 to $49.00.

I am going back real soon and I think I'm gonna get another one. They have a ton of stuff that sells for 1/3 of what you pay for in the stores. If you have never been there, you need to go. Fishing tackle boxes, hard and soft gun cases, hardbow cases, etc., etc.

Can you post the address how far from say Elgin

431 E. South St. Plano, Ill. They're roughly 40 miles from Elgin.

This place is awesome. Take a truck and a lot of money. You won't be disappointed.

Last year I bought their 52" hardsided long gun case. I'm talking about the top of the line case. Regular in store price of $139.00. At the outlet store for $45.00.

I was going to suggest one thing before you reported back that you'd already found your new bag. I don't know what the gun show situation is like back in Illinois these days, but I've had good luck picking up various small- to medium-sized bags at local gun shows. Reasonably good prices, as well. You just have to give the stitching a REAL good look before you buy.
