Exercise Your Right to Vote!

Let Your Voice Be Heard!

As many of you know, the upcoming election will have long ranging effects on our rights here in IL and in the nation. It’s important for voters to research the candidates and vote for those who will uphold the Second Amendment. For your convenience and information here are important the links to the Republican platform, Democrat platform. One candidate has even gone so far as to post his own firearm plan on his campaign website. Be informed!

State wise, the anti-gun folks have super majorities in both the House and Senate and that is compounded by an ant-gun Governor. These combined elements pose serious threats to our Second Amendment Rights here at home. At this point, our only tools to protect or advance our gun rights is through our judicial system.

It is imperative that we elect truly Constitutional judges. We are aware of some judicial candidates pretending to be friendly to gun owners and claiming they “support the 2nd amendment”. Watch out for the deception … just because a candidate puts on camo and gets photographed with a firearm doesn’t mean they are one of us! Give all the candidates a critical look and make sure they are what they say they are; make sure they have no history of supporting anti-Second Amendment causes or candidates. Judges should be running on their own merits. A judicial candidate who slings mud and twists facts cannot be trusted.

We encourage one and all to stand up for the Second Amendment and let your voices be heard by voting in this important election!

What about making a list of all the politicians and which ones Illinoiscarry endorses at the state, federal and local level including judges?

As IC is a not-for-profit org, if a 501c3, I think they are prohibited from making endorsements. Not sure about other non profits.

ala Wikipedia:

"For example, a section 501©(3) organization may not publish or distribute printed statements or make oral statements on behalf of, or in opposition to, a candidate for public office. Consequently, a written or oral endorsement of a candidate is strictly forbidden"

If IC is a 501 C 3, wouldn't our donations be tax deductible?

Remember Rep Pappas in dist 45 called for men to be castrated while lobbying for her abortion bill. Time to cut her loose.

Pappas said, according to a recounting from Hayden of a recent meeting she attended at Pappas' Bloomingdale office in an article posted to the Wayne County Republican organization website. “Now, I've been told it's a bit radical, but if we allowed men to be castrated, took the sperm to the bank, collected tax dollars on it for storage, then when it's time, to have the man decide he's ready to begin a family ... well then problem is solved."
