I ask cause I either plant my finger atop along length of slide when not firing or it’s inside the trigger but my finger will be in a hook shaped either when firing , pressing trigger towards target or getting ready to fire at target. You mention not a firing issue , are mags dropping free ? Gonna have to try / buy another brand mag catch maybe .....
