RS1 Posted August 7, 2019 at 01:34 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 01:34 PM It will put a spotlight, and hopefully pressure, on the CCSA office and Cook County Judges.
Jeffrey Posted August 7, 2019 at 03:38 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 03:38 PM I'd like to agree with you RS1 however, the voters whom you want to see said spotlight will continue down the same path as usual. Democrat voters in Chicago, most specifically black dem voters, have ample experience with the left leaning. The problem is that nothing has improved over decades of tries. They won't give up. A new dem will replace the old while spewing the same promises they have for decades yet nothing will change.
Bubbacs Posted August 7, 2019 at 03:42 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 03:42 PM It will put a spotlight, and hopefully pressure, on the CCSA office and Cook County Judges. You’d think with all that’s happening in Chicago that Crimesha Foxxxxxx would be visible somewhere! But when you’ve put the ka-Bosh on crime and incarcerations, last thing you want is to stand in front of cameras and have to dodge questions! Fathead Ed is doing his best side step speaking about the PD is doing their part but the criminals are back on the street the next day.Lori “Groot” Leftfoot has him on a very short leash these days. He can’t actually call out the people behind the problems, just say it’s a justice issue......
Colt guy Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:44 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:44 PM It will put a spotlight, and hopefully pressure, on the CCSA office and Cook County Judges.I agree with this. And Lightfoot would not have let this portal happen if she didnt approve.
Euler Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:48 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:48 PM I like the idea, but it's run by CPD, so it's a site that's going to post CPD's juked stats. If it portrays any other department negatively, CPD is just going to feel pressure to juke their stats even more. Lower the crimes to fit the bails. chicagoresident Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:50 PM Share Posted August 7, 2019 at 04:50 PM It will be nice to filter the data set to show how many otherwise lawfully constitutional carrying citizens are charged under Illinois and Cook's draconian gun laws. This assumes the cops aren't planting drugs or paraphernalia to up the charges. And it rules out those legitimately defending themselves without the state required paperwork (conceal carry permit). No doubt, filtering around actual crimes will generate enough data to waive in our legislatures face that at least a few otherwise law abiding gun owners are unfairly being punished.
