DD123 Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:16 PM Share Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:16 PM I have a Glock 29 that I shoot fairly stout hand loads out of. 180 grain bullets being pushed to 1200 fps. It's quite the handful. Fun to shoot every now and then, but not really practical as a carry gun, which is what I bought it for. These days I just take it out when I bring friends out shooting. It's fun to see their face after shooting a few rounds lol
lawman Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:31 PM Share Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:31 PM Sig P220. Recoil on it is about the same as my 40 cal glock.
Squints08 Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:44 PM Share Posted September 28, 2018 at 10:44 PM I love me some 10mm! I currently have a Glock 20, a Glock 40 and a Kimber longslide in 10mm. My Kimber is the most accurate semi auto handgun I own. The Glock 40 sports a Leupold Delta Point Pro and a 7” KKM barrel. With Underwood ammo it is a real blaster! I’m hopIng to shoot a 4 horned ram with it in January. The 10mm is just plain fun every time.
Dcompton Posted September 29, 2018 at 02:15 AM Share Posted September 29, 2018 at 02:15 AM LOVE some 10mm goodness. I am currently working on a 6” double stacker using an L10 frame and a slide that Atlas gunworks did for me. Barrel is a Barsto. The Cerakote job may not impress some people...but it’s just a fun bowling ball gun and I wanted to make it “different”. Things left to do are sights, magcatch, and magwell. Then she’ll be ready to knock down those evil white pins!

bmurph44 Posted September 29, 2018 at 03:28 AM Share Posted September 29, 2018 at 03:28 AM I own a Glock 29, I don't carry it but I do take 3 Advil before I shoot it, those things pack quite a punch.

DG53 Posted September 30, 2018 at 03:03 AM Share Posted September 30, 2018 at 03:03 AM Glock 29. Really enjoy shooting it. I bought it to carry while in hiking in the backcountry. It’s got a good kick, but not too hard to handle. I would love to buy a Glock 40 MOS for fun at the range.
04 Cobra Posted September 30, 2018 at 05:16 AM Share Posted September 30, 2018 at 05:16 AM I have a Glock 29sf. I've upgraded to a lone wolf barrel, 19lb spring kit and a few 15 cap mags. The gun shoots really really well with 180gr. It's not my edc, I bought for backpack fisihing trips to Wisconsin and Alaska. Cant wait to shoot the "hot loads" out of it. rebel49 Posted September 30, 2018 at 05:25 AM Share Posted September 30, 2018 at 05:25 AM Rock Island 1911 Tactical in 10mm, 5" bull barrel, far from stock. Hit's like a sledge hammer on plates. Only draw back is it heaves cases 30-35' back and to the right. Good luck finding all of your brass, luckily I have several K of brass to reload. Recoil isn't bad, using a modified 22# spring and a buffer.Prior to this I owned 2 Colt Delta's, first one frame cracked, second one I kept till I was made an offer I couldn't refuse. Dcompton Posted September 30, 2018 at 11:41 AM Share Posted September 30, 2018 at 11:41 AM Are you running something like an EGW or other brand flat base FPS? This combined with a heavier mainspring will slow down the slide and tame your Thor-like ejection pattern. Will also let you lighten up the recoil spring. Just my $.
