RS1 Posted February 15, 2019 at 07:42 PM Share Posted February 15, 2019 at 07:42 PM If I see an empty holster, I'm looking around for a dropped firearm. It isn't a good look. Keep it concealed like you would if it weren't empty. At the very least you aren't screaming, "There is a gun in my car and I'm unarmed!"
cope Posted February 16, 2019 at 07:37 AM Share Posted February 16, 2019 at 07:37 AM Not exactly fitting to the premise of the thread..... but related. Went to the PBR in St Louis tonight. I set off the alarms on the scanner as I passed through due to the steel grommets on my IWB. The guy started to wand me and I told him he could probably just go to my 4 o'clock waist as thats where my holster is sitting. He gave a weird look as I lifted my jacket, then said "OK an empty holster, enjoy the event"
Russ S. Posted February 16, 2019 at 02:15 PM Share Posted February 16, 2019 at 02:15 PM It's not illegal, but what would be the point of displaying an empty holster?
