He reminds me of Blago though with the over-inflated ego. There is only one hope for this once great state............all the dum0crapic power brokers get indicted and charged! spec4 Posted January 17, 2019 at 10:12 PM Share Posted January 17, 2019 at 10:12 PM Madigan could easily hang on another ten years. Look at Ginsberg. Someone better with facts and figures than me could calculate when the ever increasing tax burden, the debt levels, the destruction of freedom and a populace bailing out will cause a complete collapse. Nod Posted January 17, 2019 at 10:15 PM Share Posted January 17, 2019 at 10:15 PM Damn that Blago, it's all his fault ! He should have given Porky that Treasurer's job back then. He'd have been caught with his hand in the cookie jar and he wouldn't be Gov now. They should add 4 more years to Blago's term for this.

And then the Left can kiss goodbye (with very few exceptions) every seat they have south of I-80. And they know it.

EdDinIL Posted January 18, 2019 at 04:53 PM Share Posted January 18, 2019 at 04:53 PM District remapping is coming, and no doubt the Democrat supermajority will be emboldened by the fact that pretty much every gerrymandering challenge has been shot down at some level. In Illinois, we only have to look back at the previous remap in 2011. https://www.chicagotribune.com/opinion/ct-xpm-2011-12-27-ct-edit-remap-1227-jm-20111227-story.html

357 Posted January 18, 2019 at 05:49 PM Share Posted January 18, 2019 at 05:49 PM Our 2nd amendment right in the Illinois Constitution is subject to police powers, isn't that a police state? "Madigan's ultimate act designed to separate the will of voters from policy legislation occurred when he had his Democratic party pass House resolution 46 in 2017. This resolution is a stunning break with the role of voters in the formation of state policy and was not discussed by the media in Illinois." More proof that the mainstream media is controlled and by the same people behind the civilian disarmament conspiracy who want to deprive people of their rights. Quid pro quo, pass gun control legislation and we'll give you favorable media coverage and not report illegal activity. Where is the Justice Department? "You can't just move out, tovarisch, without our blessing. You have to cross my palm with silver if you want to move out of our worker's paradise." I'm somewhat an advocate for that. If you are drawing a state pension (public union) and you are not contributing anything back to the state, yes there should be a service fee of at least 10%.
