Unfortunately, all you can do is wait. Keep an eye on your status on the ISP webpage, you should have an answer within 30 days roughly. You will be looking for your "Under Board Review" to change back to just "Under Review". My status changed about a week before I got the letter telling me the board over ruled the objection if I recall correctly

You won't for a minimum of 30 days. Usually 45-60 w/ prints and upwards of 90 w/out prints. He has already gone active, he is just waiting on receiving his CCL in hand now. @Suikoden, I went active 5/1 and had it in hand on 5/3. I also only live 20 minutes from Springfield where they are mailed. You should receive it any day now I would think. If you go 30 days from date of being active and still haven't received it, I would def send ISP an email or call them. Here's to hoping you get it today!

Requiring someone to do the FOID application online seems to discriminate against those that don't have internet access. Not everyone has a gun shop that will do this for them. It is bad enough that Illinois makes you pay to exercise a constitutional right. I totally agree with you! I'm not saying it is right, that is just how it is done now...

It's all done online now at the link POAT54 posted. You have to first register, then you can apply for FOID and CCL on the portal. Its all electronic now, no forms to download and mail in. Just fill out the forms, pay the fee, and hit submit.

Congrats!!!! I unfortunately probably have another 12 months to go, enjoy that CCL for both of us please lol
