Definitely the largest event like it available to the general public.. The industry-only Shot Show of course is likely the the largest one. I try to go every time it is within a relatively reasonable drive so this one in Indy will be my 4th NRA Meeting. I've been fortunate enough to attend in St. Louis, Indy, Nashville and now back to Indy. My bum knee is NOT going to thank me after two days of walking the truly massive acreage, but for us gun nutz, it really is heaven on Earth. If it goes bang or is somehow related to the shooting sports, a visitor will probably find it there. It is simply wonderful to 'share the same air' with so many like minded souls and get to meet 'n greet the folks you follow on YouTube or read about in magazines. And yessiree Hickok 45 really is every bit of 6'8" tall - lol. I'm wondering/hoping Chuck Norris will be around the Glock digs? Had the chance to say hi to R Lee Ermey there once. Good times. The main exhibit hall IS normally CCW friendkly - the Secret Service imposed the gun ban in place before when the POTUS is in attendance at an NRA speaking engagement.
