Ever since the last map redistricting, its been a nightmare in my little corner of DuPage. While my Dem Senator isnt bad, my anti 2A incumbant Dem state House Madigan minion has no one running against them.

They need to get the maps redrawn and done so without stacking the boundry lines for the Dem party IMO

Republicans in Illinois are just Democrat lite. Find me a Republican pol in this state that make pro gun rights a cornerstone of their platform. The closer you get to Chitown the more distant that becomes. History teaches us that Illinois has not been gun rights friendly even under Republican rule for a VERY long time, if ever.

One glimmer of light for us, and presupposing the SCOTUS does get expanded after January, ACB is an originalist constitutional justice. She has affirmed second amendment rights in her writings. She goes in and its gonna be as close to nirvana as were ever getting to have the stage set for some positive rulings on our beloved constitutional right.Heller was binding not just on the Feds but also the states. A few more positive rulings could secure us for generation. We’ll see.

Give thanks to that POS Pat Brady, who finally has shown his true colors. I have zero doubt he was on the Democratic payroll all these years.

If they don't stop running his nonsense on YouTube I'm going to lose it.

"I'm Pat Brady, a lifelong republican."

No.

"I just cant vote for Jeanne Ives."

Who cares? Shut up.

Republican Party in this state needs a make over, they need to reach puberty already!

If there is an uncontested race in your area, write yourself in and ask friends and family to write you in as well.

I seem to recall reading that write in candidates were required to have certain paperwork filed so many days in advance or they would be discarded and not counted. Not sure if that applied to all offices though.

..."Write-in candidates

Write-in votes will not be counted unless the candidate files a declaration of intent no later than 61 days before the election in which he or she is running. This form must indicate the office being sought by the candidate.[1][8]"...

Ed Sullivan was ferocious in his defense of the 2A, and was one of the sponsors that worked closely with Phelps on the CCL bill.

Don't toss every GOP guy in that rhino cesspool. Unfortunately for us, he stepped down 4 years ago. He had enough.

Didn't he push the "60 Business Day" time limit for FOID renewals that helped us down the road of no staff at the FOID desk, well before the COVID, as the ISRA's lobbyist?

Another thing is it is in English and Spanish. English is the official language of the United States.

To those who think I'm being racist:

One of the most important requirements for becoming a U.S. citizen is that you are able to show U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that you can read, speak, and write basic English. ... You will have to read one to three English sentences out loud to a USCIS examiner.

You should be able to read a ballot in English if have been here for 3-5+ years.

It may be a requirement to pass the immigration test but the U.S. has NO official language,

English is the international language of aviation. If you're too lazy or dumb to learn it go home.
