One step closer

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to share that I finished my 16 hours of training. Now I just have to pay my inalienable rights tax and start the clock....

I have to say that I felt the first eight hours were pretty much a waste of time for me as I already knew most everything they covered from wanting to learn all of it on my own once I started to get more serious about shooting. The second eight hours, I felt was worth it as I did get a decent amount of new info as it pertains to the laws, but once again, nothing I couldn't have found on my own either through this fantastic site or some personal research.

As far as the qualifications, I felt it was extremely easy, being able to keep all 30 within the 8 ring by just flash sighting it after I got out to 7 yards. Although from looking around at the others that were shooting with me, it seems my results were not typical. I do like that it was easy enough for just about anyone to pass, even people who had obviously hardly held/fired a fun before.

I could not recommend the guys at Piasa Armory more and with the deal for the class I found on Groupon, I feel I got my money's worth.

Just wanted to share.

Mike

Great news, Patriot Millennial, and good luck as the process proceeds. Smiling at you paying what you called the "inalienable rights tax." It is an infringement on the 2nd Amendment. FYI, I also agree with terms of Constitutional Carry which requires no training or live fire qualification at all. I thinks those activities are also an infringement on the 2nd Amendment. Hope you get your CCL soon.
