Molly B. Posted January 15, 2020 at 05:28 PM Share Posted January 15, 2020 at 05:28 PM You might remember the popular Wheaton Gun Show and the trouble they had in Dupage County when AR15s were not allowed at the gun show. The great team at PVSA have found a new location at the Kendall Co. Fairground. They have scheduled two guns shows for this spring. If the turn out is good, they will set a schedule for the rest of the year. See and SHARE the flyer! PVSA SHOW 1up.pdf

MagSlap Posted January 15, 2020 at 09:54 PM Share Posted January 15, 2020 at 09:54 PM I used to always hit the wheaton show...It was a 15 minute drive down County Farm road.Sadly this new location is a long haul. Not worth the drive for me...
modeler1945 Posted January 15, 2020 at 10:03 PM Share Posted January 15, 2020 at 10:03 PM I hope the weather is good those days. Not much coverage at the Kendall location. When the Cloe Group was still running the Kendall county show at the fair grounds, I remember the building they were in was pretty small compared to some of their other shows. Be interesting to see what PVSA does and if they have more vendors.
SycamoreRuger Posted January 16, 2020 at 11:20 PM Share Posted January 16, 2020 at 11:20 PM This is good news! Hopefully I can attend one or both shows, it’s not too bad a drive from DeKalb County.

Pioneer Valley Posted January 18, 2020 at 07:11 PM Share Posted January 18, 2020 at 07:11 PM Hello, PVSA is doing 2 shows at Kendall County Fairgrounds,if these shows go well, we'll do more in the fall and hopefully a full season in fall 2021.This was somewhat of a last minute decision when we found out Cloe left Kendall, we did not finalize until January 7 which doesn't give much time for marketing, so please help get the word out, download our flyer and post it everywhere you can.Feel free to call me at 630 365 2808 or at pvsashowchair@aol.comThanksFrank, PVSA show manager

Pioneer Valley Posted January 20, 2020 at 02:05 PM Share Posted January 20, 2020 at 02:05 PM Good morning all,we have received good feed back from IL Carry members, some have asked why we left DuPage fairgrounds. After the Florida school shooting we were asked to cancel our March show by a group of about 5 local mothers,we declined so they began harassing DuPage fairgrounds with emails and threat of boycotts, the fairgrounds asked us to "temporarily" halt the sale of"assault weapons"at our last 2 shows of the season and we could resume sales in the fall,we reluctantly agreed,we had been there 50yrs and were trying to be good tenants, then they put the"assault weapons" ban in our new lease and added, high capacity clips and other legal accessorys,we declined to renew. We are a hunting/fishing club, some of our members don't even own a gun but we felt we needed to make a stand for the 2nd amendment. Thanks for the positive feedback and please help get the word out and come to our new show. Frank,PVSA show manager.
