I bicycle commute year round - raining cold and hard in November, I clipped my mini-griptilian onto my rain pants. Stopped to urinate (I guess I tend to overhydrate), got home and realized I didn't have my knife. Didn't hear it fall but since it was raining hard I figured I missed it. Replaced it with an auto mini-reflex (so far so good, wish it came without a safety). Two weeks ago I stopped in the same spot to dewater and there was my mini-griptilian poking up through the grass. It would be tempting to sharpen the top of the tip just where it would be covered by the scales when folded.I had a Phil boguszewski custom with s30v when it first came out but they didn't have the heat treat right yet or something, it was soft but it could be made sharp. Cm154 doesn't get a lot of love from knife folks but it's not a bad steel either.I have never been excited about a Ferber knife but I am seriously considering one of these.
