Veto BEFORE Primary

Just some guy

Recommended Posts

Only 1468 has been sent to the Governor so he cannot veto both of them.

I was looking at

http://www.isra.org/News/TabId/1068/ArtMID/4612/ArticleID/28192/ISRA-Thursday-Bulletin-March-15-2018.aspx

On Wednesday, March 14, three bad gun bills were jammed through the Illinois Senate. Two of these, HB1465 and HB1468, are on the way to the Governor’s desk for signature or veto.

Is this incorrect?

I think so, the senate amendment that was tacked on has to go back to the house before it goes to Rauner...

Bump stock bill was amended by Senate. Not going to Governor unless and until concurrence vote passes in House. Someone at ISRA jumped the gun.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Only if he uses Tannerite without a FOID /s

but seriously

HB1465 amended with affirmative defense so must go back to House for concurrence

HB1467 amended to repeal state preemption so also must go back to House for concurrence

HB1468 passed as is and being sent to Governor for sign or veto.
