ispfsb.com website drop down menus not working - cannot renew/apply! HELP?!

TLDR; My profile is apparently broken on the ISP's website. Can get any help from them in 6 months. Need someone to help or suggest a good lawyer who can.

 

So for about 6 months I have been working on my renewal. Actually, my expiration date has long come and gone so I'm working on a new application now. The problem is with the website. The drop down menus work fine up until you get to the 10 years of previous addresses page. When I try to enter any info in the drop down menus, for example state or month where they give you a list to pick from, the lists are blank. I cannot move past the enter addresses page until I enter them, so I can't complete the application.

 

I've attached two files to show what I'm talking about.

The first is "ispfsb working drop down menu" where you can see a drop down menu for picking a Suffix on your name. The list shows "JR" or "SR" and so on.

The second is "ispfsb broken drop down menu" where you can see there is nothing to pick for the Month. Same holds true for the other drop down menus for Country and State.

 

I've worked in IT for the past 25 years, so I'm no dummy with these things. I did a LOT of troubleshooting on my own trying other browsers and operating systems just to eliminate the possibility it is on my end. Here are the combinations I tried:

(I even tried my old Macbook with chrome on it - no go there either).

 

I've made so many calls to the ISP only to get a recording and hangup. I found a number on another post here and tried that number. A guy took my name and number and said someone would call back but that was 2 weeks ago. I have one other option at this point after making this post - hire a lawyer. I wonder how many other people are in this same boat and just give up?

 

I would appreciate any help or suggestions on an attorney who is well versed CCL problems.

Suggestions:

1. Call your state rep.
2. Call your state senator.

3. Call friend Brenden F. Kelly, Acting Director of the ISP, who always has someone that answers the phone.
This one is the nuclear option. Make sure that you want the attention that you will receive. .

Sounds like a mess.

 

I did this for a renewal student of mine, used three different computers, still was messed up. Turns out the problem got solved when he put his correct (or original) phone number in on the previous page. For some reason, everything was smooth sailing after that and we were able to get him renewed with about 6 hours to spare.

Tried changing the phone number/home/cell with no luck just now. Thanks for the suggestion!

When you have a couple hours of down time call this number.

Once you know the generic answer just hang up and redial till you get past it.

 

Patients.........

Have you been able to get through to a person on this line recently? After reading a lot of posts on here lately I've wondered if they're still even taking calls on that number.

I have the same problem. After 4 months waiting, I got letter saying basically that I didn't type my address exactly as it is on my driver's license. Drop down boxes (evidently obligatory) wont work and I can't save my address edit.

It keeps saying "10 years required". I can not access any other pages of the application. Has anyone found a work around? Thanks!

Some have to sign up with a new account, but that’s not likely in your case cause I’m assuming since you say trying to apply for CCL that it’s not a renewal

 

Clear cookies, cache, be sure to log out of site.

Maybe give it 24 hours and start again

 

It works, just flighty about who it lets in.......

The one I personally worked on is a renewal

Forgot original login (from Foid renewal after 2015) and used a new email address to access account.

Once in the original email address was provided by the website.

So I am guessing that it combined accounts.

 

The other one I talked to I believe was a renewal, not sure.

I will try to verify.

Bad news: no one knows why this is happening and doesn't seem to be something the applicant can fix. Some kind of glitch in the system and contacting ISP is the only source of getting past it for now.

 

 

ISP is wanting to know more about this problem. Does it occur with new applications or renewals? Or both?

Mine was with a renewal.

Dec 9. Drop menus Still not working. Been trying for days for renewal, Im pushing a Dec 15 expiration.

Called and on Hold off and on for cpl hrs today. I guess will have to keep calling and try and do paper over the phone.

Someone from the State Police will have to complete it for you. Contact Molly B as she can provide more info

We are having the same issue trying to complete my Husband's Conceal and carry application. We get to 55% and the drop down menus don't work. Tried different computers and different times. Also had the conceal carry instructor try it and did the same thing. Has anyone found a work around or something that has worked. Thank you for your help.
