(Update: its at his office. FOX news said Home last night, this the reason the article was posted)

Well, theyre being lead by a congressman to go and protest in front of McConnells house. These pigs are now resorting to fascist intimidation tactics. They must be so proud lol

Democratic presidential candidate and Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan announced Wednesday that he will lead a group to Sen. Mitch McConnell's home state of Kentucky, urging the Senate majority leader to "get off your a**" and advance gun control legislation.

Ryan's comments came just before President Donald Trump's arrival in Dayton, Ohio, where a masked gunman early Sunday morning killed nine and injured 27. The weekend also saw a shooting in El Paso, Texas, that left 22 dead and over two dozen wounded.

"Tomorrow, I am leading a caravan in my official capacity as a congressman, working with Moms Demand Action, to start in Youngstown and go to Akron, and Columbus, and Dayton, and Cincinnati and pick people up along the way, and we're going to Louisville, Kentucky," Ryan told CNN's Jim Sciutto on "Newsroom" Wednesday morning.

Ryan continued, "We're going to make sure that Mitch McConnell knows that there are two pieces of legislation sitting on his desk that he needs to bring up for a vote to actually get some action" and, he later added, to let McConnell "know that we're very, very serious about what's happening here."

Are we against the First Amendment now?

I see no threat of violence expressed. Groups of all sorts of views travel to different part of the country to support or oppose positions.

What about the posts here encouraging us to show up in force to counter antigun rallies, or to support pro-gun ones.

It looks like that is some here were on the left they would describe IGOLD as a group right wing militants threatening the legislature.

I do not support Ryan's point of view.

You see nothing wrong with this?

Going to his house is nothing but Intimidation and harassment. He has an official office where they can state their views.

You don't go to someone's house. That can and Should be seen as a direct threat to him and his family.

^^^this.

Imagine if your kids were home. They'd be afraid to go outside and play with their friends. Regardless of McConnell's age and familial status, this is a tactic that'll repeat itself somewhere else. Making children fearful of their lives for a cause that claims, "but it's for the children" is self-defeating and grossly inappropriate. It's just another Us v Them.

Where does the article say anyone is going to his residence?

The article mentions home state. The idea is to give the impression that Kentuckians opposed him.

He is 77 years old. His children are adults who are to the left of their father.

They do not live with daddy.

That is true, it says Home State, not 'Home'. But I'll bet you a dollar there will be protests outside McConnel's home in connection with this stunt. There is NO way they will travel down there without showing up at McConnel's front door.

As an aside, There were protestors outside his home Monday night.....

Home (specifically House) was mentioned on live TV the other night, which is why I searched for the article.

And here (published 40 minutes ago) it states that it’s at the OFFICE (thanks MSM for once again not reporting the facts)

For those who might wonder, Wikipedia lists the Senator's residence as being in Louisville. Louisville is about 115 miles from Bowling Green, the site of the proposed demonstration.

It seems that so many here talk about how they distrust the main stream media and then go off half cocked believing the broadest interpretation of something that appears in it.

I am not limiting this to any single individual. There are plenty of Chicken Littles to go around.

Truth fights hysteria. There are enough actual threats to our rights. We do not need fantasy ones. Our opponents have just as much right to express their view points as we do.

Admittedly, I do wish they would do it less and that press coverage was more balanced.
