  10. In the House last Thursday, HB1053 Habitual Criminal - Repeal was approved for consideration, but with the promise of an amendment addressing armed habitual criminals to follow. HB4726 Juv Ct - Exluded Jurisdiction was also approved for consideration. We are neutral and will not follow this one in the daily ILGA threads. Friday was the printed House deadline to move subsantive House Bills through committee, though session was cancelled that day. The House is not in today. The Senate is scheduled for 12:00 Noon. There are no bills on the Senate Calendar currently of interest to us and, while several bills of interest have committee deadlines extended into May, none of those are currently posted to hearings. Next Days Scheduled House: 4/10/2024 Senate: 4/10/2024 Senate Calendar
  11. There's an amendment pending on that bill that will address some of the concerns about things like that. The bill won't be moved on the floor until that amendment gets committee approval (or is adopted during debate if it's filed as a floor amendment).
