Sally Nalls v. ISP and IL CCLRB

APPELLATE COURT OF ILLINOIS FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT holds: "We find no error in denying an application for a concealed carry license based on a police report, as such reports fall under a statutory hearsay exception for such licenses and the consideration of a police report did not deprive the applicant of due process."

The appellant was denied a CCL in Cook County based on allegations of domestic abuse, with no conviction. The court rules that the ISP and CCLRB were within their rights to withhold issuing a license to her.
