GLOCK22 Posted August 15, 2019 at 06:15 PM Share Posted August 15, 2019 at 06:15 PM I was wondering if anyone would know if the Gurnee mall is posted with compliant signage or not. All the Posted app has is a photo of their policies, which says no weapons. The wife is trying to drag me along on a shopping trip. TIA.
ilphil Posted August 15, 2019 at 08:07 PM Share Posted August 15, 2019 at 08:07 PM I have not seen signs at any entrances. Have carried in the mall more than once.

KingWalleye Posted August 15, 2019 at 10:50 PM Share Posted August 15, 2019 at 10:50 PM I've only entered that mall from Bass Pro and I know they aren't posted.

Mayonaise Posted August 19, 2019 at 09:10 PM Share Posted August 19, 2019 at 09:10 PM I've only entered that mall from Bass Pro and I know they aren't posted. Ironically, I can carry concealed into Bass Pro but if I want to use their range, the lady at the front has to put a gun lock on my range gun. I went shooting there a while ago, and they put locks on all my unloaded range guns but not my CCW gun (which I didn't mention b/c I wasn't required to.) Bitter Clinger Posted August 22, 2019 at 12:00 PM Share Posted August 22, 2019 at 12:00 PM That's why I don't go to their range anymore. It's a big enough hassle that they make you fill out a couple forms every time you shoot there, which is a time waster, but then they need to trigger lock your guns before you enter the store? They almost damaged one of my guns because their lock wouldn't fit and they were trying to force it. No thanks.
